In today’s article titled Managerial Style at TRU Key to Faculty Anger, Kamloops This Week reports on the decision of TRU faculty to hold a week-long vote of non-confidence in university’s senior administrators. In the article, TRUFA President, Tom Friedman identifies the the university administration’s “managerialism” and lack of transparency in decision-making as some long-term causes that led up to the motion of non-confidence put forward by the faculty back in February.

Why didn’t this article appear in the print version of the KTW? Did someone from TRU Admin put a call in to KTW to beg the paper not to print the story? This one deserves some sort of follow up.
